This is the best value of any morning in the valley and it is not close. Four hours, a bicycle, two hours inside a working plantation and ninety minutes in a handicrafts village, for less than most operators charge for a single farm visit.
The riding is the reason to take it, and the cobbles are the thing to know about first. They are hard work on a normal bike, which is exactly why this operator runs fat tyres, and the first fifteen minutes out of town involve traffic. Once you are on the plantation trails it is flat, shaded and quiet.

Who this suits, and who should book something else
This suits you if you ride confidently, you want the countryside as well as the crop, and you would rather spend four hours than two. It is also the obvious pick if the fare matters, because nothing else here starts lower.
Choose something else if cobbles and traffic are not your idea of a morning, or if you are travelling with anyone under about ten. The co-operative morning is a short walk on flat ground and costs only a few dollars more.

The office is on 2a Calle Poniente, two blocks from Parque Central and two from La Merced, which puts it inside a ten-minute walk of most of the town centre. Confirmation comes within 48 hours of booking rather than instantly, so leave a day's margin.
Two travellers are needed for the morning to run. A solo booking can be cancelled after confirmation if nobody else books, and you are offered another date or a refund.
